If you have not already been licensed to use "B" or "C" level assessments, please complete a QUALIFICATION FORM, print and fax it to 780.469.2283.

Certain assessments distributed by Psychometrics are available only to users who have appropriate training and credentials, and who adhere to the principals of proper use, including knowledge of assessments and their applications.

A – Level Material

Many of the assessments, books, guides, and programs listed on the website are available for purchase without restriction. These are "A" level material.

B - Level Material

To be licensed to use "B" level assessments, you must have either, taken and passed a licensed qualification program OR hold a bachelor’s degree and have satisfactorily completed a course in the interpretation of psychological assessments and measurement at an accredited college or university.

C - Level Material

To be licensed to use "B" or "C" level assessments, you must fulfill all qualifications required of "B" level users, plus hold an advanced degree in a profession that provides specialized training in the interpretation of psychological assessments.

What is Qualification?

To purchase and use "B" or "C" level instruments you first must become Qualified. Qualification is granted to those who have received training for the use of the specified instrument, either through an approved qualifying program OR have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree that includes successful completion of a college course in the interpretation of psychological assessment and measurement at an accredited college or university.

Psychometrics Canada Ltd. provides qualification programs for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator ^® (MBTI ^® ) and the Strong Interest Inventory ^® assessments. Successful completion of one of these test-specific programs qualifies one to purchase materials upon which the training is based. See the training section of the website for further information.
