Judith Grutter has been involved in career development counseling, consulting, teaching, and training for 30 years, and is currently a principal with G/S Consultants in South Lake Tahoe, California. She received her M.S. in Counseling from California State University, Los Angeles, and has completed the course work for her doctorate in Higher Education, Work and Adult Development at UCLA. A National Certified Career Counselor, Judi developed, and for several years coordinated, the graduate programs in career counseling at California State University, Northridge. She is still on CSUN's adjunct faculty, as well as John F. Kennedy University's School of Management faculty. Judi consults regularly with business, industry, education, and government on programs and issues related to career selection, satisfaction, and transition. She is a recognized authority on the uses of assessment in career counseling, and is the author of Making It In Today's Organizations Using the Strong and MBTI ®. She also co-authored the Strong Interest Inventory ® Interpretive Report, Strong and MBTI ® Career Report, and Where Do I Go Next? Using Your Strong Results to Manage Your Career. A past president of the California Career Development Association, Judi is a recipient of the National Career Development Association's Career Counselor of the Year Award, and the California Career Development Association's first Practitioner of the Year Award, named in her honor.
