Using MBTI® Complete to Deliver Insightful Workshops

2 minute read

Written by Shawn Bakker, Psychologist

The best team building workshops provide insights into why a team functions as it does, and strategies for being more effective. The nature of this process takes time. Unfortunately, this is something many teams find themselves lacking.

MBTI® Complete was designed to give facilitators, and the teams they work with, more time to uncover aha moments and make action plans. It does this by taking the in-depth review of the MBTI model, and participants’ identification of their best-fit type, out of the workshop agenda.

Before your scheduled workshop, participants are sent a link to initiate the MBTI Complete process. This interactive learning process allows participants to:

  • Take the full MBTI assessment on their own timetable and at their own pace
  • Learn about type and how it works
  • Determine their four-letter type and verify their results
  • Receive a 3-page description of their best-fit type.

As a practitioner you will also receive a copy of the best-fit type report and the Global Step I Profile based on participants’ reported type. All before your team session takes place. This allows you to spend less time reviewing the MBTI model and identifying preferences, and more time engaging the group about how they are currently functioning, what is working well, and how they could be better.

You can vary the times based on the size of the group and their previous experience with the MBTI framework.
