Shawn Bakker is a registered psychologist, and holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. During his career, he has helped organizations with staff selection, succession planning, team building, and training. Among his personal clients have been Chevron, NAV CANADA, the British Columbia Public Service Agency, the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, Nortel Networks and Winn-Dixie.

In addition to his consulting work, Shawn has written numerous articles on the use of psychometric assessments in the workplace, and has spoken at many HR industry events. He is committed to helping organizations develop effective and innovative assessments of the talents that people bring into the workforce. Shawn is the co-author of the Work Personality Index, Career Values Scale and Career Interest Profiler.

Justin Deonarine

Justin is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with Psychometrics Canada. He specializes in the application of personality, emotional intelligence and data-driven decision-making to areas such as leadership and corporate culture. He has worked with organizations varying in size from local to multi-national, and has published articles about leadership, corporate culture, innovation, entrepreneurship and emotional intelligence.
