He leads the professional services team at Psychometrics Canada, and works with organizations across Canada to recognize and utilize the potential that people bring to the workplace. In doing so, he has helped organizations improve their selection and succession planning processes, and guide their team and leadership development. Shawn is the editor of Psychometrics Canada’s newsletter, Psychometrics Direct, and writes about ways to use MBTI® instrument to help people in their work and personal lives. He has also written numerous articles on the use of psychometric assessments in the workplace, and has spoken at many HR industry events. Shawn’s first experience with the MBTI® assessment was in college, where he examined the links between personality type and learning style. PATRICK KERWIN, MBA NCC Patrick Kerwin is principal of Kerwin & Associates in San Diego, California, specializing in the development of teams, leaders, and organizations. A Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Master Practitioner, Patrick has over 25 years experience working with corporate, non-profit, healthcare, and education organizations to put the MBTI® instrument into practice for team-building, leadership development, communication enhancement, change management, stress management, and individual development. AIDAN MILLAR, B.A. M.SC Aidan Millar is a certified MBTI® trainer and consultant with Psychometrics Canada as well as a Learning and Organizational Development Specialist at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. Her experience includes the development and delivery of large-scale training initiatives for dozens of organizations across Canada, focusing on the areas of leadership development for executives and management, conflict resolution, team building, communication, change implementation, strategic planning and more. In her current role, Aidan aids in the design, implementation and facilitated delivery of various learning and development programs for front-line employees and leaders at Sheridan. Andrew Bell, LLB Andrew Bell is president of AB Consulting LLC in Los Gatos, California, that focuses on improving the performance of people in organizations by specializing in leadership development, training & executive coaching, H.R. strategy development and provides expertise in the MBTI® tool and a wide range of psychometric instruments. He is a UK citizen, graduated with an LLB degree in Law & Politics from Birmingham University [UK] and is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development [UK]. Yvonne Nelson-Reid, B.ED, MA, MA, Ph.D. Yvonne is a depth psychologist, career coach, teacher, and writer. She holds a B.Ed. in secondary education, an M.A. in Educational Research, with emphasis on Jungian Theory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® tool (Thesis – Experiencing Psychological Type: Interactive Insights into the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® tool); an M.A. in Depth Psychology, with emphasis in Jungian and Archetypal Studies; and is currently completing her Ph.D. in the same field. Justin Deonarine Justin is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist with Psychometrics Canada. He specializes in the application of data-driven decision-making to areas such as selection, leadership and corporate culture. He has worked with organizations around the world, varying in size from local to multi-national. Justin has also published articles about leadership, corporate culture, innovation and entrepreneurship for sources such as Inc.com, Canadian HR Director and CPHR Alberta. Pat has worked with these companies as an assessment expert to develop training programs, deliver team-building seminars, implement career development initiatives, create diversity empowerment programs, provide coaching/leadership development and address outplacement and selection.
